Affiliate Disclosure

Our Site may contain links to third-party sites which are not owned or controlled by us. Some of these links are affiliate links, which means we may make a small commission (at no additional charge to you) if you purchase from the linked sites. All posts and product recommendations are based on our own personal experience and we only link to products or services that we love and use.

We use reasonable efforts to notify you when and where we have placed affiliate links, in addition to this disclosure.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party site or service linked. We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of any third-party site/link you visit.

Privacy Policy

Section 1: Who We Are

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.honeycombmockups.com (the “Site”). Your continued use of this website signifies your agreement.

Section 2: Personal Information We Collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Contact Form

To assist with sending you any requested information, we use forms to collect and store your email address.  The creator of the form plugin (WPforms) never has access to this.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to record website performance and user behavior, such as referral source, page views, time spent on site, etc.  Google Analytics also collected IP addresses to provide and protect the security of the service and to give website owners a sense of which country, state, or city their users are coming from.  The information Google Analytics captures is anonymous and there is no way to connect that information to you.  You can read more about Google Analytics here.

Newsletter/Email Marketing

We may send you marketing emails from us if you made a purchase from us or you signed up and agreed to receive email marketing from us.  You may opt out of email marketing at any time by following the opt-out links on any marketing email.

We use Mailer-Lite for our newsletter and email marketing. You can read more about how Mailer Lite uses your Personal Information here: https://www.mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy

Spam Detection

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Embedded Content From Other Sites and Links

Posts on this Site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Posts may contain links to other websites or blogs.  We are not responsible for the privacy policies of other websites or the third-party applications it uses.

Section 3: How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We share your personal information with third parties, as described above.  In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

We may share your personal data to comply with applicable laws and regulations and to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or another lawful request for information we receive.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.  We will never sell, rent, or lease, your personal information to a third party.

Section 4: How Long do we Retain Your Information

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Google Analytics data is retained indefinitely.  Contact forms and comment cookies are held for one year.

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Section 5: Your Rights

If you have an account on this Site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.
